CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort >> 02/03 Grooming back on! Conditions – Good Snow last 48 hrs – 4-6” Base – 1-4” Hello- Things are looking up again in the Cadillac area. Fresh, system snow has returned to the area in last 2 days and groomers went back out Sunday and are running regular shifts till atleast midweek. Once again , special thanks to all the volunteers from Cadillac Winter Promotions for working so hard on this trail system. Whether it’s grooming, trimming branches, or repairing wash-outs , these guys spend a lot of personal time for the love of our sport. ***Special music in the bar Fri & Sat this coming weekend. Singer/songwriter, Kendell Marvel will be in town performing in our cozy bar. Kendell is a Grammy award winning songwriter who has written hits for the likes of Gary Allan, Chris Stapleton, Jamey Johnson , George Strait, and many more.. Wet, sloppy snow will lead to slushy / snow covered road conditions. Localized totals in excess of 6" are possible, generally between the M-72 and M-68 corridors. • Bonfire in Corral is open today til 3:30ish, serving drinks!
• Pete’s trail report & Music update: Warmer day Thursday and Friday did not help us.. Although the sun has been beautiful, it has taken a toll on access roads into towns. Riders impressions vary widely , but just had one come into the bar today (Saturday at noon) and said “trails were great and rode 80-90 miles in two hours this morning”. Winter Promotions is going to halt grooming for a bit until we get some more snow .. We probably will hit a few areas where it can handle it and leave the thin areas alone for a bit . Some snow is expected tonight and this week , so hoping to get 4-6” so groomers can get back at it.
• VERY cool music in Coyote bar next Friday & Saturday… singer/songwriter, Kendell Marvel will be in town from Nashville area.. He has written many big hits you likely know and will be a special treat.. Adam Joynt opens the music Friday at 8:30pm, and Nicolas Sake opens on Saturday. We have a few $20 seated tickets – otherwise it will be SRO for $10.
