The 2 daylight pictures are by the tunnel on trail 2. The night pictures are trail 13 heading to Cisco Lake. Trails are setting up nicely. More snow will definitely help the thin spots. The cold weather is really helping get things and both trails were left smooth and solid before the snow predicted for this week and weekend! We have a ton of snow! Ontonagon County is buried in the white gold, and conditions are excellent for riding. Scattered lake effect snow is expected daily through the weekend, keeping trails refreshed. However, with bitter cold temperatures hanging on, be sure to dress appropriately and prepare for extreme winter conditions.
Our trails are groomed daily, providing some of the best riding conditions you’ll find. If you're looking for smooth trails and fewer crowds, midweek riding is ideal. On weekends, be sure to get out early—traffic picks up quickly, and trails will start to get bumpy by midday.

Also, Trail 100 has been completely closed due to logging. We have placed signs posting its closure and the entrance is bermed on Trail 1. At this point there is no open trail connecting Trail 1 to the south end of Lake Gogebic unfortunately. #lakegogebic #westernup #snowphotos
