HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 02/07 We had extremely high winds yesterday late afternoon & into the night. If your out riding today please watch out for down trees, branches, & drifts. We had one groomer out early this morning to take care of this major hazard on the Alanson trail and will have all three groomers back out tonight. If your out riding and come across any trees / branches and you can move them we would appreciate the help. If you cannot please send us a message or a text so we can prioritize those areas this evening. <> <> WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Lake effect snow showers linger today, especially over the EUP with cooler temperatures in the low 20s. WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> A front swinging through this afternoon will bring gusty winds to the region as well as a little bit of light snow…ongoing lake effect across the eastern UP notwithstanding, where an additional few inches are possible through tonight.
