WEATHER UPDATE via Midwest Weather >> ~Snowfall Forecast Tuesday Night-Thursday Morning~ I ran out of time this morning so I had to take a picture off my phone this time. Hopefully it's visible enough. A winter storm is expected to bring a swath of heavy snowfall accumulations from KS/NE to portions of MI. A surface low will deepen in the panhandle and move northeast through the day on Wednesday. A large area of 6-9" is expected, which will cause significant travel impacts on Wednesday and Thursday. Snow will overspread southwest to northeast Tuesday night west of the Missouri River and Wednesday morning east of the Missouri River. Snow will fall for as long as 18 hours in some areas. A large area of increased lift and frontogensis with a deformation band will enhance snowfall rates to 1" an hour.
