I ran out of time this morning so I had to take a picture off my phone this time. Hopefully it's visible enough.
A winter storm is expected to bring a swath of heavy snowfall accumulations from KS/NE to portions of MI. A surface low will deepen in the panhandle and move northeast through the day on Wednesday. A large area of 6-9" is expected, which will cause significant travel impacts on Wednesday and Thursday. Snow will overspread southwest to northeast Tuesday night west of the Missouri River and Wednesday morning east of the Missouri River. Snow will fall for as long as 18 hours in some areas.
A large area of increased lift and frontogensis with a deformation band will enhance snowfall rates to 1" an hour. Very fluffy snow will allow blowing. #miweather #keweenaw #westernup #marquette #munising #seney #newberry #soo #straitsarea #gaylord #cadillac #benzie #traversecity #petoskey~OUTDATED~

12 degrees this morning and sunny. I picked up about an inch of snow here at my place last night. We sure didn`t get the snow the weather guessers were talking about but the temps remain in the teens...so.....all good. "They" are talking some LE for the next couple days so we`ll see how that pans out.
Nothing really to report about the trails. All operators are saying the trails are BEAUTIFUL!!!! All feed back I`m seeing on our FB page is saying the same. It doesn`t get any better than this folks!!!! If you ain`t U.P. here or don`t have plans to be U.P. here you are missing out!!!! Its worth the couple hour extra drive to get here!!!!
LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Groomer deployed early yesterday for the South trail 2 and ran from Curtis down to Bryce's Michihistrigan and back..
Trail groomed up well and good snow coverage.
We also sent groomers to the Newberry / Helmer and Naubinway trail loops last evening.
Trails were showing heavier usage, but both trails did groom up exceptionally well ! #curtis #newberry #snowphotos ... See MoreSee Less
Thanks for the laughs. John and Eileen. Had a great time at groomers ball as usual with you all. #seney #newberry #snowphotos ... See MoreSee Less
