TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Ranch Rudolf >> 02/16 Ranch is open today for lunches 12pm to 3pm. Snowmobile trails are in great shape per usual this winter! Sid groomed the north trail last night-and more fresh snow overnight ❄️ Frosty Family day today is sold out. We will not be able to accommodate walk ins for this event. For those with reservations: remember to dress warm/wear your snow gear and arrive before your ride time. Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. This could lead to dangerous conditions for those without power or a safe source of heat. Does anyone have any information that would explain why Antrim County was excluded from the the governor’s State of Emergency?
