TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Ranch Rudolf >> 01/21 Yesterday’s task was shoveling Ranch roofs and moving snow. So much snow this winter! ❄️ Let’s do it again this weekend! Open Saturday, Feb 22, noon to 5pm for lunches. Open Sunday, Feb 23, noon to 3pm for lunches. Trails are top notch and groomers are running. They reported that condition are fantastic! Get out there and enjoy those trails before the short warm up. Thank you Ben and Kersch for volunteering your time to make our trails great! Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. This could lead to dangerous conditions for those without power or a safe source of heat.
