Houghton Lake Trail Report – 02/21

HOUGHTON LAKE UPDATE via Spicer’s Boat City >> 02/21

Hello Riders, welcome to another great weekend to ride.

All of the Houghton Lake trails are groomed except to the West, Pat will head out in the morning to groom that side.

The trails are looking good, no snirt in sight. A warm up will come through over the weekend, but we are looking for some more accumulation mid-week. We should be getting a good to great ride in all of the Northern Lower.

The lake is looking good, check with the local fisherman or the bait shops for current ice conditions.

Our sled inventory is changing daily, please contact sales with any questions. Easy-Move snowmobile storage and work stands are fully stocked. $10 off in stock Woody’s carbides when you mention this ad.

For the YAMAHA riders out there we have stocked belts, carbides, hyfax and oil. We are still stocking for our ARCTIC CAT riders as well. Our accessory department is loaded up with everything you will need to stay warm this winter. Stop in and have one of our winter gear professionals get you ready for your outdoor adventures. We would like to see the pictures of your adventures on the trails. Like us on Facebook and share your photos. Don’t forget to support your local snowmobile clubs, they keep it great for us.

Check out our on line store and parts finder at www.spicersboatcity.com Always be aware of your surroundings and ride within your limits. Tess

Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report

Here's the latest snow depth map from the National Weather Service as we go into the weekend (February 21, 4:40pm). This is the best snow depth map we have seen in a long, long time. With the slight warmup next we this might be the best snow depth map for the season, so get out and enjoy the snow this weekend! #MIWeather #keweenaw #westernup #marquette #munising #SENEY #newberry #Soo #straitsarea #gaylord #cadillac #houghtonlake #benzie #traversecity #petoskey ... Anyone know trail conditions near Lewiston?

2days in Keweenaw and trails were horrible. 3,17 were badly beaten. Ugh

Luzerne!

This is the best snow depth map I've ever found. It's never steered me wrong. I can absolutely count on it to find the best snow.

NWS Gaylord is my go-to as a troll 😉 www.weather.gov/apx/snow
