MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails >> 02/23 Trail was ate up after the warm day and heavy traffic, but laid back smooth. Low traffic volume at night should help for today, but with the warm weather this week, trails will get rough quicker than normal. I don’t anticipate losing much base, but the makeup of the snow will change as it thaws and refreezes. Check your carbides as corners may get icy. Please be careful and reduce your speed when driving this morning. This is the best snow depth map we have seen in a long, long time.
