LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming >> 02/23 Area Groomer’s update for Saturday evening 2/22/25.. Trail’s were destroyed! With a high of 36° today and heavy traffic we had our work cut out for us!! Temp’s are forcasted to get below freezing each night except Sunday evening but we should still be able to send groomer’s out. We’ll keep you posted if anything changes. The pictures don’t do justice but I’m sure many of you in the area riding experienced the same thing the operator’s did this evening. 102, 13n, 1n and Hoop access were covered tonight. ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via North Country Snowmobile Club UP >> Trails were not overly beat up last night as compared to trails in January. Mac and North Coast Steve knocked out the runs last night, but we missed 12 to Greenland. The Dubie Groomers/Brush Cutter drags we run are key to our trails holding up. The added wings make a single pass groom possible!! That and damn good operators out there cutting bumps down! We have zero concerns for trails after the warm up. This is the best snow depth map we have seen in a long, long time. Ugh A map with no legend is completely useless Seney area is deep that's for sure Dale Stevenson where are you?! Luzerne! This is the best snow depth map I've ever found. It's never steered me wrong.
