Please be aware trail 1 from White Pine to Silver City has water hazards reappearing. There’s snow for grooming! To answer everyone's questions. The Groomer's haven't been out in 2 day's. We'll be sending 2 machines out in a few hours to see what exactly we're dealing with. Tentatively we plan to run 102, 13n and 1n. We'll report back after they return with an honest report. After a mostly quiet afternoon and evening, a chance of snow is possible late tonight into Wednesday as a low passes to our south. The best chance of accumulating snow will be along the Wisconsin border. Machine's will remain parked this evening. The trail's are slush with lot's of standing water. It looks like the temp's will get below freezing tomorrow evening so we anticipate sending guy's out around 7pm to access/repair some of the Trail's.. Sorry folks, it happens and it's out of our control. All we can do is keep moving forward until March 31st. Please be careful and reduce your speed when driving this morning. Well – they are hanging in there, but took a major hit. Images from The U.P. Superior Snowmobile Club trail 3 trestle bridges. Snow is thin on the road to Lake of the clouds. Trails in the ditch and anywhere that had snow-cancer deteriorated significantly yesterday. The forecast of 46 and clouds turned into 52 and sun with wind. Grooming remains paused. We will evaluate the temperature forecast for grooming tonight and we will try to get out there, but TBD. Trails are rated in FAIR condition with POOR areas and EXCELLENT areas. But, the entire system is full of bumps. We are seeing the return of northern Wisconsin riders as their trail systems shutter. We currently have 1 Pistenbully down that we hope to get back online for the weekend. SNOW IS FORECAST ALMOST EVERY DAY.
