STRAITS AREA UPDATE via Straits Area Snowmobile Club >> 03/07 Friday March 7th <> <> Straits Area Snowmobile Club on Facebook >>>> <> WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Our batch of light snow showers continues to move eastward out of the UP this evening, but as winds turn to the NW, expect some light lake effect to develop in the eastern UP tonight. Additional snow totals will be below an inch. Elsewhere, expect clear to partly cloudy skies this evening through tonight. Trail update
After our big rain we are now froze solid. We still have a base on most of our system but no fresh snow to keep sleds cool. Thinner to the south and more snow towards trout lake. The only grooming we will be doing is near trout lake where we picked up a couple inches of snow. If riding in our area this weekend use extreme caution.Postings From Regional Pages On Facebook
