Gaylord Bureau – March 7, 2025 9:20 a.m. We’ve had some rain and warmer temps, and the trails are feeling it—conditions are poor, and there may be standing water, ice and patches of dirt. There is not much to ride on unless we get fresh snow and grooming will not take place unless that happens. We’ll keep you updated on the conditions for the rest of the season! Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday. Snow will continue to spread across the area, leading to 1-2" of wet accumulations for many south of the bridge before switching over rain. Strong winds are expected today with gusts to 40+ mph, potentially leading to more down trees and limbs from recent icing. – Please move off the trail when groomers are approaching and allow them to safely pass.
– If you approach a groomer from behind, kindly wait for the operator to signal you to pass.
– Grooming can take place at any time during the day or night, so stay alert.
– Always ride on the right side of the trail.
