WARMER WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> The coming work week will feature much milder temperatures running in the 40s and even 50s for much of the area - with the exception of Tuesday, when temperatures will run closer to normal. In addition, expect windy conditions today as a low-level jet moves through the region. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority - ORV & Snowmobile Club >> Photographs from my trip today on Trail 160 illustrate the considerable snowfall this year, which is comparable to two years ago, with snow depths of one to two feet observed in specific areas, indicating the best winter conditions encountered thus far. Trail 2 and 13 to Cisco lake was groomed yesterday. Later today trail 3 and trail 2 will be groomed. We have noticed that some of our trail already has dirt spots from the sun. Our base is very thin.
