Harbor Springs Area Trail Report – 03/22
HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 03/22 Within the last week we went from it being 65 and barely any snow to temps being in the 20’s and roughly 5-6” of snow on the ground. The snow we got was wet & heavy, there are trees and branches down everywhere. The weather is calling for another 3-6” tomorrow night, but temps during the day will be above freezing the restbof the week. If you want to get in one last ride for the season this would be the would be the time but expect spring time conditions and stick to the trails in the woods. The sides of the roads are dirt / pavement, dirt road crossings are muddy, rocks coming through, water holes, washouts not filled in. Trees & branches down everywhere, it’s physically impossible for us to get everything cleaned up on sleds at this point.
