Newberry Trail Report – Visit Newberry – 01/10
TASA Trail Report Warning: There is ice under the snow, please be careful. Trail #9 to the Falls is in fair condtion. We had about 2 inches of snow overnight. Trail in town is in poor condition. Trail 9 north to Pine Stump has a 1 – 4 inch base and is in poor to fair condition, more snow as you go north and west. Trail 45 has a 1 – 3 inch base with more as you go north, and is icy. The trail is starting to freeze with Highs in the 20s and Lows in the teens, . The Newberry trail 9 to Rexton is in poor condition with a 1 – 3 inch base, please watch for the water hole north of Borgstrom road in Hemlock Ridge. From Rexton south to the wooden bridge 473 to Epoufette is rough from logging and lack of snow. The deer are out and moving so please watch for them. Please be careful on the trails and watch for icy spots. We did have a few inches of snow fall over the weekend and the temperatures have dropped but we still need more snow for all groomers to get out.
