Newberry Trail Report – Visit Newberry – 01/19
TASA Trail Report Warning: There is ice under the snow, please be careful.. The groomers are out and trails are being groomed everyday. Trail in town is in good condition and. Trail #9 north to Pine Stump has a 3 – 6 inch base and is in good condition, it was groomed Tuesday. Trail south of Seney cutoff is in good condition,More snow as you go north and west. Trail #45 from Newberry to the falls is in good condtion and has a good base with more as you go north, and may be icy. The trail to the falls is in good condtion The Newberry trail 9 to Rexton is in fair condition with a 1 – 3 inch base, please watch for the water hole north of Borgstrom road in Hemlock Ridge. The groomer brokke through jsut south of the railroad tracks so watch for that area. From Rexton south to the wooden bridge 473 to Epoufette is rough from logging and lack of snow. Please be careful on the trails and watch for icy spots. The trails are all in good condition and you should have lots of fun on them so come up and enjoy the UP at it’s best.
