Newberry Trail Report – Visit Newberry – 02/18
TASA Trail Report WATCH FOR ICE ON THE TRAILS, CORNERS CAN BE DANGEROUS – USE CAUTION!!! There is water under the ice and snow on the trails. We will not be grooming until Saturday to allow the water to freeze. All trails are in fair condition,except near town and the trails are in poor condition We are going to have colder temperatures for the next few days. The trails will be icing up. We are only expecting snow showers, no accumulation given. Please be aware that there are logging trucks out on some roads and that Hog Island Road is being plowed for the trucks. Trail to Trout Lake has been groomed and is in poor condition. Trail #9 north to Pine Stump has a 2-4 inch base and is in fair condition, Trail south of Seney cutoff is in fair condition, More snow as you go north and west. Trail #45 from Newberry to the falls is in fair condition and has a 2" base. The trail will be icing up as the temps drop. The Newberry trail 9 to Rexton is in fair condition. We will be grooming trails when weather conditions improve. Watch for updates.
