Drummond Island Trail Report – Drummond Island Snow Report – 03/04
SNOWMOBILING FANS: Base: 5 inches Current Trail Conditions: What a difference a snow storm makes! Trails are currently Fair to Good depending on where you go. Groomers Report: INTERNATIONAL ICE BRIDGE TO CANADA: The Ice Bridge is OPEN. Do ride with caution! As the warmer weather continues the ice will start the spring shift/thaw. Check with the locals before crossing. Customs officials are manning the Island offices and have posted regular hours. Before you cross make sure you have the appropriate ID paperwork. CROSS COUNTRY SKIING FANS: All trails are in good to excellent condition with this new snow. Get out and enjoy them while you can! SNOWSHOEING FANS: Snowshoes are no longer necessary to navigate this network of trails. A study pair of waterproof boots will let you get out and about just fine. The new snow fall has transformed the woods and it really is a Winter Wonderland out there once again. SLUSH FEST! March 19, 2011 starting at 11am on the ice @ Yacht Haven Polar Ice Jump Heated Tent! Fun, Food and a guaranteed good time!

Snow base on the Island currently stands at 5 inches. The storm that started yesterday is still churning. 4 inches fell overnight and another 1 inch has been added today as of this writing. With more of the big, white fluffy stuff coming down our trails will be in excellent shape for some weekend fun!
