Temps will be dropping today with lows around 18 tonight. Snow is in the forecast Wednesday thru Friday with temps in the teens for the highs and single digits for the low…they are calling for 3 to 5 inches of snow for tonight and 4 to 6 inches on Thrusday,with snow through Friday. It’s a wait and see what we get out of the system. GOGEBIC RANGE TRAIL AUTHORITY Reports Trails 2, 8 and 160 are all groomed and are in poor to fair conditions. Trail 160 has two wet spots so use caution. Trail 11S is groomed and is in fair condition. Use caution logging is getting underway on the last four miles of 11s so watch out for logging trucks. GOGEBIC AREA GROOMERS Lake Gogebic groomers report with heavy traffic this weekend trails are groomed and in poor to fair condition. The groomers will be out getting the trails back in shape with the new snow that is in the forecast. We will keep you updated. U.P.THUNDER RIDERS OF WATERSMEET report all trails are groomed the trails are in poor to fair condition. The Groomers will be back out tonight working with what we have. We will keep you updated as to how much snow we receive. Keep in mind the groomers will be out day and night, so watch for them,and PLEASE pull over or at least slow down and wait for the operator to signal you by whenever you see them.
