Cadillac Area Trail Report – Cadillac Trails – 01/15
Sunday, January 15, 2012 Snow accumulation: no change All groomers are running today. The forest roads are holding up beautifully and provide excellent riding. We’re down to snirt in the heavily woody sections of trail and many sharp turns. With conditions as they are, we have to be extremely careful with grooming or we can do more damage to the trail than we do good. Where you have a flat, smooth surface like a forest road the drag generally has plenty of snow to work with. However, when conditions are like this and the trail is wooded, winding, and uneven, the drag is likely to have less snow to work with and will grab dirt along with snow. We don’t need to tell you how this can really mess things up. We need more snow to begin grooming full time. Staging areas: Our trail system has numerous staging areas for your convenience: Tustin Have fun and ride safely. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * VIA CADILLAC WINTER PROMOTIONS
