Gaylord Area Trail Report – VisitGaylord.com – 01/18

Ray’s Retreat – January 17
When we headed back out the snow was really coming down thick and heavy. Visibility was very limited. It then became difficult to determine in some areas where the trail actually was… everything was virgin white.

Tuesday Morning Snow and Trail Report….
by Heart Lake Resort on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 9:46am

Nothing has change from my last two reports in regards to trail conditions but we are just now (9:38 am) starting to get some snow. They are calling for it and it looks like this is the start of it. It was a bit warm yesterday, almost 32 degrees, but only for a short time during the day – the night temp was below freezing. It is now exactly 29.3 degrees here at Heart Lake Resort in Gaylord and the temps are slowly dropping. If we get this snow and then even more lake effect as forecasted, we could have 2 to 5 inches when it’s said and done – more would be nice! Not real specific I realize on amount, but I like seeing it on the ground before I report on it. Folks are still up here riding and this new snow will certainly make things better. As always, please feel free to give me a call if you need additional information and if you would, please share this report with your friends and have them ‘like us’ on Facebook. Thanks.
