Cadillac Area Trail Report – Cadillac Trails – 01/18
Wednesday, January 18, 2012 Snow accumulation: 8 inches* The groomers are running again today doing what they can with what they have. They will be staying off the White Pine trail until there is a significant build up of snow. We have a winter storm advisory in effect for this evening with a possibility of 2 to 5 inches arriving before noon Thursday. Speaking of the White Pine trail, some of you may have already seen the signs on the White Pine Trail asking snowmobiles to stay off the trail unless there is atleast 4 inches of snow. The signs posted by the State Park staff read "Help protect our resource, please refrain from operating snowmobiles when less than four inches of snow cover the trail." We were assured by the State Park staff these signs were posted not as an enforcement tool but as an educational tool. The "four inch" rule has been in effect in State Parks for years. Staging areas: Our trail system has numerous staging areas for your convenience: Tustin Have fun and ride safely. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * VIA CADILLAC WINTER PROMOTIONS
