Overall conditions are poor to fair. Groomers are still planning on grooming at night weather permitting. GOGEBIC RANGE TRAIL AUTHORITY-Overall conditions are poor to fair and extremely icy. You’ll likely run into a number of poor areas as you will encounter bare spots. Trail 2 from Ironwood to Wakefield is poor with alot of bare spots. It’s best to trailer to Wakefield and ride from there. Streets, Highways and parking lots are bare. Trails 2 & 8 out of Wakefield are in fair conditon. Trail 160 from the lookout to the Wisconsin border conditions are bare. 11N is poor to fair and again closer to the lake conditions are bare. 11S conditons are poor to fair. Closer to the Wisconsin border where the logging is ongoing conditons are bare. LAKE GOGEBIC AREA GROOMERS – Grooming is still planned at night weather permitting. Trails are in poor to fair condition. Parking lots, Streets and Highways are bare. You will run into a number of poor areas and encounter bare spots. Trails are extremely icy.
