We never got more than 3 inches of fresh snow Friday. Saturday gave us just a few intermittent snow flakes. However, about 50 – 70% of the trail still has an ice base so the three inches packed nicely on those areas. Trail 7 from Otsego Lake into Gaylord was down to dirt so the three inches is still on the trail but there is no base in those areas. We had two rooms come in yesterday and go riding yesterday and today. They all said they had fun with decent conditions.
We just came in from an hour of playing on the trail. I am so glad we did. It was much better than we had anticipated. The forecase is looking encouraging with snow expected Tuesday and then again Thurs/Friday
