Cadillac Area Trail Report – Cadillac Trails – 12/10
The Sunday storm wasn’t as vigorous as we had hoped but it did leave everything snow covered and slippery this morning. Forecasters say we will have some lake effect today but no great amount. Well, at least it’s a start–sigh! Snow Accumulation: 3 inches Trails are in great shape. Our crews worked hard on them throughout the summer. Lots of the old signs were removed and some new signs put up. REMEMBER there are fewer signs in the woods this winter so when you finally do get a chance to ride, take your time and enjoy the ride. The need for speed may be costly to you and to others. Assume every trail is a winding trail and be ready for the next curve. A reminder to those who enjoy riding the White Pine Trail, State Park officials have asked snowmobilers to ‘refrain from operating snowmobiles when less than four inches of snow cover the trail.’ * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * VIA CADILLAC WINTER PROMOTIONS
