Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 12/22
Things are looking good. The 20 inches of snow that we got from Winter Storm Draco has set us up for a great trail riding week between Christmas and New Years. That was a very wet snow so good packing to make a solic base. They are out grooming the trails. As they go along, the trail needs to be cleared thru the wooded areas. So many trees/branches down from the heavy snow. From Gaylord south on trail 7 had been groomed and then they headed west to trail 4 where it starts going thru the woods, so progress is slowed down. They will have the trails in good riding shape. Can you believe it? This is the first time in several years where we will have great conditions for the Christmas/New Years week. A delightful Christmas present.
