Traverse City Trail Report – TC WebGuide – 12/28
Ranch Rudolph – 12/27/12 Our trail system is in pretty good shape right now. Volunteers have been busy brushing and clearing trails after the heavy snows we received before Christmas. Temperatures have been cold and we’ve been able to maintain most of the snow we’ve gotton over the last week and a half or so. In the woods there is probably 10 inches and groomers have been able to get out to get trails packed and start establishing a base. Lots of people are out enjoying the snow and the trails. Supposed to be cold all week and flurries to light snow for the next handful of days. Trails are wearing thin on some of the corners, but are mostly covered and in decent shape. Groomers Running: Yes Base: 1-2 inches Trail Condition: Fair to Good Snowfall in Past 24 hours: Flurries, nothing significant Grand Traverse Snowmobile Club – 3/23 Conditions: Fair to Good – Well we got 6 to 12 inches of wet snow which in turn caused a lot of limbs and trees to come down. The groomers have been out trying to clear the trails and groom. There are quite a few spots with water holes and dirt showing so be extra careful. Complete Grand Traverse Snowmobile Club Report >>>>
