Cadillac Area Trail Report – Cadillac Trails – 12/29
Here’s a trail update directly from our Al Green, our Trail Coordinator: ‘We are still doing some grooming as the trails on the forest roads are still very good as is the White Pine Trail! Any where the trail is in the trees and narrow it is very snirty and thin. There were 2 groomers out yesterday/last night and the 8120 will repaired today so it can go as far south as 10 Road on the Bristol and Pine River routes tonight.’ We sure could use some more snow. Fortunately, temperatures have stayed cool so we could hang on to what snow we had. We’ve only managed to pick up a dusting here and there over the last few days…still waiting for the next snow storm. Snow Accumulation: 5-6′ Cadillac area–8/10′ Boon north REMEMBER there are fewer signs in the woods this winter so when you finally do get a chance to ride, take your time and enjoy the ride. The need for speed may be costly to you and to others. Assume every trail is a winding trail and be ready for the next curve. A reminder to those who enjoy riding the White Pine Trail, State Park officials have asked snowmobilers to ‘refrain from operating snowmobiles when less than four inches of snow cover the trail.’ * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * VIA CADILLAC WINTER PROMOTIONS
