Michigan Trail Report

Newberry Trail Report – 01/10

We will not be grooming until temps cool down and we get more snow.

There has only been one signifacant snow fall so far this year, and we need more snow..

We do not groom in the village, and the curfew in the village is 11 P.M. to 7 A.M.

Temps are expected to be in the mid to upper 30’s thru the week.

Trai l#9 to Pine Stump has been groomed. There is dirt mixing with the snow especially North of the Seney cut off. A lot of corners are now more dirt than snow. The trail is in fair condition.

Trail #45 to Tahq. Falls has been groomed, but the trail is plowed from Skyline Road to the north 3 miles for logging. This area is very icy with large dips, please be very CAUTIOUS. The rest of the trail is in fair condition.

Trail #9/2 to Epoufette & Trout Lake is in fair to good shape down to Rexton where the snow gets thin.

THE NORTH STORE ON CO. RD. 407,WILL BE OPEN THIS YEAR.

The curfew for the Village of Newberry is 11:00 P.M. until 7:00 A.M.

FYI: There will not be gas at Rainbow Lodge as they are closed due to the Duck Lake fire. There is a gas pump logo on the trail map, but they will be CLOSED.
