It has been snowing throughout the day. The trails are covered. We have seen sleds on them, and the trail is still covered with snow after the sleds went thru. The forecast is showing snow, snow, snow over the day 7 days/nights. It is definitely looking good.

As for this weekend it you want to ride, there is snow to ride. It is not going to be perfect conditions. Grooming won’t start until there is at least 8 inches of snow. That could be happening Saturday if the snow comes as they are predicting.

So it is really your decision if you want to make the trip up. If you are a rider that wants near perfect conditions – definitely stay home.

The trail looks good even though it has not been groomed. You are going to find some rough areas though if you ride 100 miles plus. That is to be expected.

If you want to get out in the snow, and enjoy your sleds then come on up and have a good time. There is snow for that and likely by the time you get here it will have improved.
