Terry and Julie of Ohio had a fantastic ride last night. When they first rode the Lakes of the North trail they weren’t too happy. Very rough, and many people complaining about it.

Gaylord Area – February 13
A beautiful day. Mild temps and off/on sunshine. Becky and Dave from Ohio enjoyed this ride with us.

A few phone calls and it seems things are set up for good trail riding again. They rode until 2 am .. by the time they got back over to this direction the groomer had been through and had the trail as smooth and free rolling as riding down I75.

Riders returning today and all happy and telling us it was beautiful. The trail out front of us is rather rough as they return tonight. Everyone has als0 mentioned that there were ALOT of riders out today.
Please always ride safe with the thought that in an instant your life could be over. Another snowmobiler was killed in Antrim County when she was riding up a hill and hit a log truck. So Sad. That’s the second one this week.
