Cadillac Area Trail Report – 02/20
We picked up 6 to 8 inches in the last 12 hours and the vicious wind is blowing it all over the place. The groomers are finding the snow slushy in some areas and feel the new snow and today’s grooms and cold temperatures should make for some excellent riding conditions. The White Pine is rideable but icy in spots. All groomers are out and running their assigned routes each day. REMEMBER there are fewer signs in the woods this winter so when you finally do get a chance to ride, take your time and enjoy the ride. The need for speed may be costly to you and to others. Assume every trail is a winding trail and be ready for the next curve. A reminder to those who enjoy riding the White Pine Trail, State Park officials have asked snowmobilers to ‘refrain from operating snowmobiles when less than four inches of snow cover the trail.’ * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * VIA CADILLAC WINTER PROMOTIONS
