Sault Ste. Marie Trail Report – 03/14
4 degrees out this morning Brrrrrrrrrr! A great sunrise though. Trails are in great shape and will be this weekend. Call your favorite motel and get a room now. Get out on your sled come have pancakes Saturday morning at our groomer barn, then hit the trails for one of the last rides you may get. Via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association on Facebook March 14 Trails have recovered nicely after the warm up. We have had 2-4 inches of new snow since then. Some road shoulders have bared off if you are planning on using them. Some wet areas have water under the snow since the rain so be aware of it. Trails are all in good to excellent shape, but the longer the time after a groom the the rougher they get. Groomers are out smoothing out the trails daily. Hopefully if you find a not so smooth section you found many more that were freshly groomed. Groomers run 24/7 on different sections. Trails are generally groomed once a day on weekends and everyother day during the week depending on traffic, temps, and breakdowns. Join us on Facebook also. Sault Ste.
