Western U.P. Trail Report – Western U.P. Bureau – 03/21
What can I say other than snow, snow and more snow. We have gotten an average of 28 inches of new snow in the last week. Some places in Gogebic County got more and some got less. Temps for today will be in the 20’s and for the weekend highs will be in the 30’s with lows in the teens. Snowmobiling is the best it has been all season. With our low traffic and great condition now is the time to come and have a great time riding. Our time for riding is winding down we only have little over a week left before the trails close. The Watersmeet groomers report: Conditions are very good, best they have been all season. We are getting more snow again today. All trails are groomed. Come up and enjoy some great riding. Keep in mind groomers can be out day or night so watch out for them and please pull over or slow down and wait for the operator to signal you by. Please be careful on corners as you know several Michigan Trail signs have been discontinued. These signs are posted on our trail map. PLEASE BE SAFE!!!!
