Sault Ste. Marie Trail Report – 03/22
March 22 – It is 28 right now and partly sunny on its way to 35. We had a low of 15 last night so it set things back up again and thats what is called for the next week or more. Great riding weather and the trails are in great shape. Hope to see you out there either on sled or in groomer. Remember all of our drivers are volunteer and put in many hours to keep the trails smooth. Go to our web site www.sootrails.org and buy them a cup of coffee for their hard work! Via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association on Facebook March 20 We have had 2-3 inches of new snow last night. Some road shoulders were bared off if you are planning on using them. Trails are in the best condition of all year, flat, white and groomed. Trails are all in good to excellent shape, but the longer the time after a groom the the rougher they get. Groomers are out smoothing out the trails daily. Hopefully if you find a not so smooth section you found many more that were freshly groomed. Groomers run 24/7 on different sections. Trails are generally groomed once a day on weekends and everyother day during the week depending on traffic, temps, and breakdowns. Join us on Facebook also. Sault Ste.
