Benzie Area Trail Report – 12/28
GOOD MORNING NORTHERN MICHIGAN…. All trails were groomed last night. Remember its not a super highway, its a trail through the environment with all styles and types of riders whipping it up. Warmer temps through the evening may have loosened up the base a bit and yes bumps may have occurred. Slow down and check out the sunshine sparkles, the snow blobs, the rivers, creeks and the wildlife that lives along them. ENJOY the RIDE! We’ve gotten 6-10′ since Christmas Eve alone! Yay! Snowbirds say the snow total for the year so far is 80 inches! Groomers will be out today and early tomorrow grooming the entire trail system. There is a pretty 8′ base in most locations. Watch out for logging operations in the Norconk Swamp area on trail #386 and on Trail #3 North of US-31 watch for ruts, mud and large slow moving vehicles. It’s our time baby! Get out and ride!
