Indian River Trail Report – 01/14
Conditions will be improving in the next 24 hours–trails are currently icy and crunchy in spots. It started with a cool-off that kept us under freezing all night. Even now we are at 28 degrees and are not forecasted to see over 30 anytime soon. It wasn’t cold enough to groom last night but that is also about to change. Light flurries are falling and the radar shows a storm moving in. We’re under a Winter Weather Advisory from 4 pm today through tomorrow afternoon. We’ll be looking at up to 6′ of fresh snow plus blowing and drifting. Winter’s back!!! To join or renew Grooming Club membership, send your email to info@indianriversnowmobiling.org or visit www.indianriversnowmobiling.org. Thanks to your support we’re building our groomer ‘barn’ and will soon have a new facility where we can store and work on the equipment. Construction is underway now at our location on US 27, just a stone’s throw north of the DNR Trailhead at White Road in Indian River!
