Lake Gogebic Trail Report – 01/29
January 29th – Expected warmer daytime temps (single digits and teens) and below zero nighttime temps will make riding a lot more enjoyable than the last few days cold snap conditions. Plus we are expecting more snow on Thursday and a chance almost every other day. We’ve got everything we need for perfect trail conditions and no problems to report on any of the Gogebic Area Grooming trails. Although temps are warmer than they were a few days ago, nighttime temps are going to be cold – please do treat these cold temperatures with respect; make sure you head out with a full tank of fuel, supplies, cover all exposed skin and always let someone know where you will be riding. It’s a good thing to take a buddy along with you, too. We always want to be sure you have a safe ride as well as a fun ride while you’re up visiting our area. ** Make sure to stop by the Gogebic Lodge this Saturday February 2nd for the Lake Gogebic Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored annual Radar Run! There will be several different classes so there will be something for everyone! It’s always fun to run but just as much fun to watch – so be sure to come.** THEY ARE PREPARING THE TRACK IN FRONT OF THE LODGE FOR THE RADAR RUN SO PLEASE RIDE WITH CAUTION IN THAT AREA That’s all for now from Carolyn at the Hoop.
