Welcome to the official start of the 2014 snowmobile season! Trails officially open today, and they are perfectly ridable… with a atv 🙁

After a fantastic early start with over 2 feet of snow 2 weeks ago, rain and warmer temps have hammered everything down to mostly grass and ice. We will need quite a bit of snow before we will start rolling the groomers. The ice base is starting to form well however and it is really only a matter of time. We would need less then a foot to get things going.

The forecast is nice, but not good for trail building. Mostly sun and 27-32d temps are going to just barely hold what we have right now. We will likely need a storm to get things going like we need to.

First groomer run was on 12-17 last year, and it was an epic season for sure. Keep your heads up, we will be sledding in no time.
