Gaylord Area Trail Report – VisitGaylord.com – 01/06
Cold weather and snow in the forecast all week. Just need some more snow along with the cold weather to the the trails in decent shape. Its warmer this morning but still cold at about ten degrees out there. No new snow overnight but on the bright side the weather report shows snow and cold the rest of the week. The AVSA groomer stopped by here yesterday on its way thru for its first run down the grayling area trails. Francis who is a volunteer driver for AVSA as all their drivers are stopped to say hi and let me know that they were out panning and start getting the base hardened up and get a base going. I have to say I was surprised to see them out but am glad that they are. If you would like to join and help support AVSA please check out their site at www.gosledgraylng.org A few sleds rode into here yesterday but for the most part it was quiet. Here are few pictures and video to follow later…Thanks for checking in. Pete http://frederic-mi.com/category/trail-conditions/ Gaylord Bureau The Gaylord area has about 4 inches of snow!
