Grayling Trail Report – Fay’s Motel – 01/20

Greetings Sledders,

Not much to write about other than tell you what trail is intact and what trails are partially intact. The Lovells trail #47 is still alive mainly due to light weekend traffic and of course all of the assorted off trail riding that accompanies this segment remains good as well.

As for the rest of the Grayling trails:

If you were to draw an east west line one mile south of Frederic you would be looking at the Great Divide. Everything north of that line is relatively good snow and everything south would be your garden variety dirt and snirt.

Are they still grooming you ask? I’m glad you brought that up Kathy. Yes we are, although we have to drive over the road six miles to get to groom-able snow. A first for us.

When do you expect things will get back to abnormal and you’ll get some snow? Fair question Bruce. Fact is there’s no snow predicted in the 5-10 day forecast except for a clipper that’s supposed to hit Hawaii. So please don’t ask us anymore Bruce, we’ll get to you when things perk up. And remember, we are clueless when it comes to knowing conditions elsewhere.

Ride Often and Please Be Safe,
Keith, Sandy and the Girls

At Fay’s Motel enjoy direct access to the Grayling Area snowmobile trails.
