St. Ignace Trail Report – 02/02
COLD COLD COLD. — -16 this morning and now only -6 on our way to 2d this afternoon. Should be better tomorrow for pond hockey rink surveying, and then back cold into the teens for the rest of the week. Maybe a trace of snow here and there, but now major storms in the forecast. Still an inch or two will spruce things up pretty good. The weekend trails fared great, there may be almost unridable mougled trails in other parts of the state, but small stutter bumps is all you will find around here. Groomers take care of them daily and are running 7 days a week out of both Iggy and Brevort. Moore groomer drivers training this week with daytime runs during the week. Overall we could use a bit more snow on the RR Grade, but other then that everything is rock hard, flat and fast. I see no reason that the trail will change anytime soon. Make your reservations now, stay in Iggy and ride to the Soo for the I-500 next weekend. Day-riders are welcome to drop at our trailhead downtown St. Ignace near the ice rink and head North. Keep the track side down and have a blast! Please visit our website for discussion on current events, the trail pictures, and weather. ———
