Cadillac Area Trail Report – 02/04
February 4, 2015 – Conditions: Fair to Good We have been getting a little snow each day but we picked up an additional 1-2 inches overnight and there is snow in the air now. It’s shaping up nicely for Cadillac’s big festival this weekend–the North American Snow Festival. We continue to rate the trail as fair to good as there are still some thin spots in the system but there is lots of good riding throughtout in the area. Talked to a couple of riders who had been on the White Pine Trail yesterday and they both described it as ‘beautiful.’ Thankfully, we were able to start grooming it recently. As of Sunday, February 1, we have resumed our full grooming schedule. – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – —– To better access the forest trails, you’ll want to use one of the Staging Areas below: 33 Rd Staging Area–S of M-55–approx.. 3 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs) Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs) Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * VIA CADILLAC WINTER PROMOTIONS <>
