Reports of 5 inches of snow so far on the ground in the Boardman Valley. A few more inches and the groomers may head out. Lake effect snow and colder weather in the forecast for the rest of the week. <> Grand Traverse Snowmobile Club – 12/28 We have put the groomer drivers on standby! 5″ has fallen so far with more on the way from this storm! If we get a few inches more you may see those big green machines out at least packing a base. Lake effect in the forecast Wednesday through Saturday. If you do get out riding, be careful. We have a lot of water holes on the trails. Rocks and sticks could be hidden under the snow also. In any event, I think old man winter has shown up! Keep Snow Dancing!
