The great outdoors looks and feels like winter today. Friday night’s big snow and temperatures dropping into the teens have it looking like a normal January day out there. The wooded trails are very good. Riders report only a trace of snirt in some corners. The railroad grade North of Indian River continues to have a very thin base mixes with snirt and gravel in some exposed spots. The farther south you travel in town the more snow we have. Although winds are calm today we’re only at about 11 degrees. The predicted high is 14 so bundle up if you’re taking to the trails. Traffic appears light this morning. Groomers are scheduled to run tonight but at least one is sick, so we’ll do the best we can. Again, conditions on the wooded trails are good so riding will be enjoyable.
