Cadillac Area Trail Report – 01/16

January 16, 2016

Conditions: Fair

I was talking with our Trail Coordinator Jim Thomas this morning and he reported we had a bit of a set back on Friday with warm temperatures and a bit of rain…enough to mess up some of our narrow trails. He indicated the forest roads have held up pretty good but we desperately need a lot more snow. Martin Richard, our President, had this to say about our trails today ‘I groomed this morning to Mesick out of Boon, and we lost a lot of snow yesterday and its not good. Closer to Mesick its not too bad because there was more snow that way but it is very thin in most other places. We need a ton of snow quick!’ There you have it. We sure hate to make reports like this but we try to be honest.

There is a lot of sled traffic out there today and the groomers are running. Think SNOW!!!!
