Drummond Island Trail Report – D.I. Resort – 03/02
Trail Condition: good Groomer Report Our trails condition depend on which trail you are on. There are still some great trail conditions and riding in areas on the Island read below: The West End: 3/01/16 This end of the Island is in fairly good condition with the new snow we got in the past few days. The Quarry Haul road has been plowed on on side but not on the groomed side so it is still usable just stay on the groomed side and watch for vehicles. The East End: 3/01/16 This end is poor to fair. Glen Cove north towards the Maxton Plains there is 8 miles of Icy plowed road with only about a inch of snow due to Logging operation in that area. You can still go to the Marble head view point and ride that loop. Although we got about 5 inches of fresh snow in town the east end didnt get quite that much snow. There is logging going on trail 493 from the plains for 8 miles heading towards the east. Please watch for log trucks! This area is icy with very little snow on it. I would avoid this area if possible. There is still a bit less snow on this end of the Island so the snow on trail this end is thinner. Our trail base is any where from 2-4 inches depending on the area with a little less than foot of snow on the ground. 800-999-6343 Pins Bar & Grill, next to the trail open daily 4pm-9pm with Happy Hour daily 4pm-7pm. Happy Hour Specials $1.50 Well Drinks/Bottled Beer! Also, Friday Fish Specials 906-493-1004 <> Visit D.I. Resort Website >>>> <> Latest Trail Reports – Quick Links <>
