Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 12/10
It’s a snowy Saturday morning in Frederic but don’t get to excited. Its 19 degrees at 7 a.m. here in Sledheads. We have about 8 to 10 inches of snow total in the past couple of days. While it looks great and deep it honestly is a worthless snow. Its all lake effect and the fact that we had no base or anything frozen if you were to ride in this you get one pass and are then down to the dirt. I did see three sleds at the Frederic Inn yesterday afternoon and I stopped in and talked to those guys. They had rode from Mancelona to Starvation Lake and over to here. They said the same thing I just said that they were going down to the dirt and the snow was deeper to the west, but……they were happy to be riding. I checked the motels just for the heck of it on the way here this morning and there was one rig which looked pretty cool at the Ramada Inn with 2 sleds on the top of the box of a chevy truck. I would expect that a few riders will still try to get out there and try it today and that’s good because I do sell carbides and slides — http://frederic-mi.com/snowy-saturday-morning-in-frederic-but/ <> Visit Sledheads of Frederic Website >>>> <> Below are the latest postings from the Sledheads of Frederic Page On Facebook. <> This message is only visible to site admins <> Visit Sledheads of Frederic Website >>>> <> Latest Trail Reports – Quick Links <>Sledheads of Frederic On Facebook
