Grayling Trail Report – Fay’s Motel – 12/27
Greetings Sledders, Not much has changed in the last 24 or so hours. What were mushy, snirty trails yesterday are now frozen, snirty trails today. Yesterday I said that trail 7 south of M-72 and trail 79 west of Old-27 were not what I consider ride-able, that opinion remains the same. I’m still of the opinion that the rest of the trails are in poor shape. The only exception to that would be the Lovells trail which looks to be in decent shape and would allow you passage to the ranges and two tracks out yonder. If you need help understanding yonder just ask, we’re easy to get along with. There is snow in the forecast albeit Lake Effect which of course we’ll take at this point. The probability of that happening still remains relatively low and we don’t count Lake Effect flakes until they’re on the ground. For those of you that are reading this carefully and taking it literally that doesn’t mean that we are actually counting snow flakes. Rest assured that as soon as it looks like the weather is looking more in our favor or if we see improvement in the trails we will shout it out almost immediately.
